go to your local hardware store and pick up 2, 4 inch binding plates they are about 1/2 inch wide and have 4 holes in them. Also pick up 4 stainless steel screws, pan washers, and appropriate aircraft nuts (the ones with the nylon inserts so they won't loosen) about $5 for everything. Attach one end of each of the binding plates to the license plate and attach the other end of each of the binding plates to the holes where the plate bracket is attached. This is done by coming up from in front of the spoiler and behind and under the bumper. It looks much better then the standard mount and I had no problems getting my car inspected here in NJ.
